Happy 3rd Birthday Abby!

Little sister released a balloon for Abby's birthday.

Annabelle also tried some rice cereal for the first time today.   She seemed to like it!

BUMBO HAPPINESS!

Annabelle really likes her Bumbo.

Mt Hood!

We did a 2 mile hike around Trillium Lake! The view is pretty awesome!

Jill James, our chaplain friend and Annabelle's "fairy godmother," said that the butterfly that was flying around us this afternoon was Abby's spirit. I hadn't thought that at the time, but I really think that it was Annabelle's big sister checking in with her.

Annabelle's first trip to the Oregon Coast

We took Annabelle to her first trip to the coast last week. We went to Astoria where Goonies never say die... We took the bridge to Cape Disappointment State Park in Washington and hiked up to the oldest working lighthouse in the nation. We saw some great views and a seal hanging out in Dead Man's Cove. Needless to say, Annabelle was an Angel the entire time. She seems to really enjoy hiking, which is awesome since that is something Mommy and Daddy love to do.

Annabelle at the pub!

We went to Hopworks with Jon and Callum today for a "Daddy lunch." As you can tell, she really liked it!

No, Mel Gibson did not pay a house visit :) Anna Banana had a procedure on her eye today. She has a clogged tear duct and the doctor went in today to "probe" and try to clear out the tear duct. Needless to say, she is pretty miserable, we gave her some medicine to help with the discomfort, but other than being a little fussy she doesn't seem to be in any pain.
We started a bed time routine last night for the first time and it went well, she's not even close to sleeping through the night - she's averaging probably 2-3 times a night -but that's ok, for now... we have her starting in the co-sleeper in her room and then she ends up with us in the early morning (a little bit easier for breastfeeding). I think we'll go back to the rountine (bathing, massage, feeding and a story) tomorrow and spoil her more than usual tonight. If anyone has any tips for daytime routines - it would be appreciated, granted she's not even three months yet, so letting her sleep when she wants to sleep is not a problem, I just want to start thinking, preparing for the future. Till next time :)
